The Mass and Everyday Living Material for Teaching Children about the Mass

Here is some information on our Salvation History dating back to events in the Old Testament, the earliest days of our faith roots that have been incorporated into the Mass’s Entrance Procession in order to gather is jubilantly into the celebration of the Mass. The Ark of the Covenant (The Exodus is dated as 1446 BC and the ark of the covenant was constructed during their 40 years in the desert.) This Ark was the sign of God’s presence in the midst of the Israelites journeying in the desert and in the Promised land.
