On Friday, April 13th please pray and fast for the success of the 20/20 Project and in particular that our NJ State legislators will support and sponsor the “Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act” ( A-1686/ 5-537 )
The 20/20 Project is a non-denominational coalition of pro-life organizations throughout New Jersey, including many Catholic groups, banded together to protect “pain capable babies.” The Project has legislative, educational and spiritual components, with a goal to ban abortions after 20 weeks by the year 2020.
Christine Flaherty of LIFENET, who works out of the Newark Archdiocesan Center, has mobilized people from a variety of churches, respect life organizations, and faith-based groups, such as the Knights of Columbus, the Archdiocese of Newark, the Diocese of Metuchen and the New Jersey Right to Life, to focus on this common goal. The effort is grounded in prayer, with more than 1,000 Masses to be said this year for the protection of babies in the womb and their families.
Do join them in their April 13 praying and fasting for the passing of the “Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act,” And, to help the 20/20 Project assess the level of participation in this effort, please email info@babiesinthewombfeelpain.com if you plan to pray and fast.

The 20/20 Project seeks to raise people’s awareness of the issue and to assist grass-roots efforts to promote cause campaigns such as lobbying members of the State Assembly and Senate to pass the bills like the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
