Please take a few moments to sample the Joy of Love and Family videos prepared during the Diocese of Metuchen’s Lighting Hearts on Fire, a campaign of spiritual renewal seeking to bring about a renewed zeal for evangelization among the faithful. I hope you will find in them much helpful information vital to Catholic families.
If you do not understand or are having difficulty accepting some of what is explored in these videos, please ask one of our priests or me to meet with you so that together we can explore these topics and how they relate to the Church’s teaching and your life and family. We may be able to provide added insights that may help.
It is a good thing to recognize that one has doubt and questions or that one finds something they should accept to be hard to accept. It is better for you to talk about this and to try to see the Church’s position than to dismiss the teaching as something that you will never be able to accept. Try asking us about it. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you learn.
